Spring is upon us and it’s time to update your look for spring. It is undeniable; NUDES have made a come back on the spring runways. We are loving the nod to the minimalist trend this season and are excited to host “Get NUDE” at PROPAGANDA HAIR GROUP this Saturday, April 11th, from 10am to 6pm. Join us for complimentary makeup applications with our professional artists.
Here’s a glimpse of a few looks that inspired the NUDE trend this season. Our artists will be featuring these stripped down looks to help you “Get NUDE”. Some of you “makeup girls” out there may be thinking… “there is no way, I can wear such a minimal look”. I assure you; from one makeup girl to another, these looks can be altered to fit your taste and coverage needs. The approach I’ve taken this season; is to swap my winter shades for fresh, spring hues and opt for a heavier coverage than the looks that follow. Let’s face it, these models are models for a reason, and I personally don’t have the skin of a seventeen year old. Making a trend your own is the sauce that makes fashion fun. Remember, replication often appears as imitation. Be you!
Dare to bare with this minimalist approach at Tory Burch. This look focuses on the health of the skin, rosy cheeks and brow definition. Don’t forget the mascara and lip balm for a look that is simply chic. Image – IMAXTREE
Who said browns are boring? Taupe and peach eyeshadows added definition at Paul & Joe when paired with light inner rims and multiple coats of mascara. We love the pinky-nude lip stain and fresh complexion. Image – IMAXTREE
Bronzer please! Micheal Kors‘ models walked with a sun-kissed glow applied to the hairline, apples and across the bridge of the nose. This playful placement was balanced with smudged, charcoal eye liner along the upper and lower lash lines. Image – IMAXTREE
Lilac love. Can lilac be considered nude, you might ask yourself? For warm, pinky skin tones; lilac is the basic brown alternative. Derek Lam featured lilac lids and petal pink pouts this spring. This is a purple haze to get excited about. Image – IMAXTREE
We look forward to seeing you this Saturday at “Get NUDE”. Remember to contact the salon for your complimentary makeup application booking. See you there!
