SARA DOMISara Domi, owner of PROPAGANDA HAIR GROUP, moved with her husband Lati, from Dallas to Austin with the intention of opening a salon. Sara recalls, “The goal was and still is to have a first class salon that influences the community to be conscious of fashion and trend, and not be intimidated by it. Fashion should be fun, not pretentious.”

Sara started her career in the late 90’s by doing hair and makeup for modeling portfolios. Her love of being involved with the fashion industry began there and she moved to Dallas to enroll in the Aesthetics Program at the TONI&GUY Academy. Upon graduating, Sara was hired by MAC Cosmetics, which led to being hired as the National Cosmetics Director and Media Spokesperson for TONI&GUY. Sara wrote and conceptualized TONI&GUY’s first makeup book and educational tool available to the public, entitled, “Paint by Numbers”.

Sara is currently represented as an on-set makeup artist and hair stylist by the Kim Dawson Agency in Dallas and uses her eye for advertising campaigns. She has become a staple of the backstage hair and makeup team for Dallas Fashion Week as well as lending a hand for local runway productions.

Sara’s passion lies with editorial styling and print, and has had featured releases in Harper’s Bazaar, Allure and Vogue. She has had over three hundred published pages and more than thirty national and international publications to her name, Sara uses her experience to create PROPAGANDA’s branding and as a tool for educating “The Group”.

Aside from creating PROPAGANDA’s branding and image, Sara is also a Makeup Artist at PROPAGANDA HAIR GROUP, specializing in makeup lessons and applications for clients. “After a lesson the client leaves not only feeling beautiful, but they have the knowledge to recreate it. If the client can’t reproduce the same look when they get home, I didn’t do my job,” says Sara.
